Unique and effective methodology
I have been trained in aspects of various active schools, such as Montessori and Waldorf, I have studied the Finnish educational system, a system that I admire and am passionate about, I have learned various methods for acquiring a language, among other training with professionals from around the world. All this to create my own methodology, with a strong base that allows creating classes adapted to the kid’s development, their needs, and their interests. Fun and effective learning!

Each student has specific skills and needs that are the basis for the creation of each session. This is why I adapt each class to their characteristics, using personalized materials and resources. As Montessori said: “don’t follow me, follow the child”. Your kid will be the center of the learning process!
Hispanic cultures
Culture is attached to every language. It is part of its origin and its continuous transformation. A language is a new way of thinking and the culture is what allows it to make sense. With stories, crafts, puppets, games, and special celebrations, your kid will get to know the Hispanic cultures behind Spanish.
Real-life Spanish for your trip
Do you want your kids to travel as exchange students? Or are they going to visit your family in a Spanish-speaking country? I’ll help them to be prepared for daily life situations and to accomplish their academic and personal goals. Being in a country that speaks a new language can be stressful, but together we can pack their Spanish suitcase with everything they need!
Native professional teacher
Let your kid get even closer to Spanish with a Mexican Spanish teacher, certified to teach Spanish to foreign students and as a DELE examiner. She/he will listen and read real Spanish. They get immediate useful feedback on his/her speaking and writing. I will guide them with patience, kindness and proactiveness, for them to be the main characters of their learning path.

I’m Güilu!
A passionate online Spanish teacher. I’m from Mexico and I have a bachelor’s degree in education. After getting a scholarship to teach English and Spanish writing abilities to students from bilingual schools as an intern, in Washington D.C, I fell in love with language teaching, specifically in my mother tongue. I got certified in Spanish teaching to foreign students and as a DELE examiner by Instituto Cervantes. I also have a C1 certificate in English from Cambridge University. I’ve also taught English to Mexican students in High School.
Nowadays, I teach Spanish to foreign students full-time.
